Compliance with regulations
Any appointed supplier must comply with the same technical, safety, cleaning and venue protection requirements that apply to the exhibiting company.

Technical regulations
Stand design and construction
Please review the technical and operational requirements before preparing any structural, graphic, electrical or decorative elements for your stand.

Since 2019, the AVEPA-SEVC Congress has included basic stand construction for all exhibitors, with the aim of minimising construction costs and allowing exhibitors to reinvest these savings in scientific content for veterinary professionals.

In addition, this format reduces the waste of single-use materials and their subsequent disposal without recycling, including materials such as wood and many plastics.

01 Modular construction
  • All stands in the commercial exhibition include a modular structure that varies according to the size and location of the stand.
  • Stands smaller than 24 m² include modular walls, fascia board, blue carpet, electrical power and lighting.
  • Stands larger than 24 m² also include a 4 m² storage area, which will be built according to the characteristics of the stand.
  • The stand construction design will be determined by the organisation according to the location and characteristics of each stand.
  • Free-build stands are not permitted, except where the exhibitor can demonstrate that reusable modular structures will be used for the stand construction.
  • If the stand is adjacent to an electrical supply point or another service point that requires access, the organisation will install a specific panel to ensure appropriate accessibility.
  • The construction design for each stand will be provided by the organisation approximately 3 months before the event.
  • Exhibitors may propose changes to the design provided by the organisation. Changes may be accepted provided they are compatible with the characteristics of the space and respect the surrounding environment.
02 Flooring, carpet and raised platforms
  • All stands include Ducados blue carpet.
  • Stands larger than 24 m² may change the carpet colour at no additional cost by selecting from the colour palette available in the Boutique.
  • Carpet colours outside the available palette may incur an additional charge.
  • Raised platforms are permitted, provided the organisation is notified in advance so that installation can be properly coordinated.
03 Stand decoration elements
  • Modular panels may be covered with vinyl graphics or foam board, provided the specific dimensions of each panel are respected.
  • At the end of the event, these materials must be removed by the company that installed them, leaving the modular panels clean and free of adhesive residue.
  • Failure to remove these materials may result in an additional charge to the exhibitor, the amount of which will be determined by the organisation.
  • Standard modular panels may be replaced with reinforced panels that can be drilled to support items such as televisions. This service must be ordered from the official stand contractor.
  • Stands may be decorated with movable elements such as furniture, brochure holders, counters, plants, televisions, banners, machinery and similar items.
  • No individual element may exceed 1 m in width and 2 m in height.
  • All elements must be positioned so that they do not obstruct the visibility of the exhibition, neighbouring stands or other event features.
  • Large elements may be a maximum of 2 m wide and may not form part of a single continuous element wider than 2 m, with the sole exception of the modular construction provided by the organisation.
  • The total linear space occupied by large elements, including the modular construction, may not exceed 30%, in order to preserve visibility throughout the exhibition.
  • Painting and carpentry work are not permitted during build-up.
  • All exhibitors must submit a stand design to the organisation for approval no later than 20 days before the event.
04 Electrical power and lighting
  • All stands include an independent electrical distribution board with a power supply appropriate to the size of the stand. Specific information will be provided to each exhibitor in advance.
  • All stands include basic lighting.
  • Power sockets and extension leads are not included.
  • Any requirement for sockets to be installed beneath the carpet must be communicated in advance so that installation can be properly coordinated.
05 Overhead elements and rigging
  • Overhead elements and rigging systems are not permitted.
  • No element may extend more than 30 cm above the maximum height of the stand construction.
06 External companies
  • External companies may install decorative elements within the stand.
  • Installation of vinyl graphics, foam boards, furniture and other elements by external companies must take place exclusively on Wednesday afternoon, from 14:00 to 20:00.
07 Activities within the stand
  • During the event, exhibitors may decide which activities are carried out within their stand and reserve the right of admission.
  • Music and sound systems that may disturb neighbouring exhibitors or exhibition visitors are not permitted.
  • Talks for small groups are permitted provided that the sound does not disturb neighbouring stands or other visitors.
  • Direct sales are permitted.
  • Exhibitors are responsible for any products, samples, gifts or other items they provide to visitors.
  • Each exhibiting company will receive a specific number of exhibitor passes according to the size of the stand booked.
* All installed elements and activities carried out within the stand must comply with the general safety, build-up and operational requirements of the commercial exhibition.
